We start from your photos and theme. A pencil draft is produced which you critique and comment on. Upon receiving your changes we redraw the image according to your feedback. You critique the new draft and approve or request new changes. We repeat these steps in two rounds of changes. Voila. Your first experience as an art director was a success!

What does a caricature artist do?
A caricature artist produces a rendering of something or someone that is stylized in a humerous way. Humor differs from region to region and from country to country but caricatures are universally loved and understood by all people.
What are caricatures and how are they different from cartoons?
A caricature is a likeness that captures a person's physical traits and simultaneously exaggerates them for grotesque or humorous effect. A cartoon is a simplified form of drawing created for humorous or other effect.

What do caricature artists use to draw?
With traditional caricature art we use graphite, lead pencils, markers and in some cases brushes. We use pencil crayons for colouring at events. Digital cariatures are drawn on tablet systems using drawing and paiting programs. It is a personal choice. The results will have their distinct looks depending n the media or style used.
What makes a good caricature?
Caricature artists incorporate a good likeness of the subject. Exaggeration of the subject's features is the main characteristic of caricature art. A good caricature say something more about the person than a plain photograh.
How do you start a caricature?
Different artists work differently. Some start with general structure. Some start with one area of the face, develop it and then move on to the next part. What is important is a goo piece of art at the end. How you got there is irrelevant.
